Riverside Concert Band
Join the Riverside Concert Band to get into the spirit of Memorial Day this year and honor our veterans. On Memorial Day (Monday, June 27th), the Riverside Concert Band will be performing patriotic tunes at the Riverside National Cemetery. The cemetery is located at 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA. The performance will begin at 10:30 a.m. and last until 12:00 p.m.
This is not only your opportunity to get into the spirit of Memorial Day but also to hear some of the finest music Riverside has to offer!
The Riverside Concert Band is 136 years old and has performed more than 4,500 concerts. They were founded in 1876 by Professor Paul L. Johnson. Today, the band is composed of community members who play woodwind, bass, and percussion instruments. The Riverside Concert Band has played in California, Nevada, Arizona, and Hawaii. The band has a wide repertoire that includes:
