Amazing College Race for a Scholarship in Riverside, CA

In the past decade, there is one charge in particular that seems to be steadily rising: college tuition.

According to CollegeBoard, total charges at a public, four-year institution (with room and board) rose more rapidly between 2003 and 2014 than they did over the two decades preceding.

If you are a student looking to avoid the debt caused by college costs, there’s good news in Riverside, California: on Feb. 9, prepare for a chance to win scholarship money in a race against time and peers!

The Amazing College Race, a scavenger hunt for college students, takes place at 2 p.m. in Downtown Riverside. Begin at 3900 Main Street, then race around downtown to find clues, tasks, and trials along the way.

At Heiting & Irwin, we truly believe the value of a quality college education is immeasurable, preparing a student not only for his or her career but also for life. This fantastic Riverside event gives students a chance to fight off college debt with a fun competition,while also giving them an opportunity to explore Riverside in a unique way.

College students: to enter, fill out the online form on the Riverside Office of the Mayor website. Entry into the scavenger hunt for a team of three is $30.
