Meet the attorneys of Heiting & Irwin in Riverside, CA. Each attorney has many specialties and experiences that contribute to the overall expertise of the firm.
James Otto Heiting – Managing Partner
The only past President of the State Bar of California ever elected from the Inland Empire, James Heiting handles personal injury matters throughout California, recovering over $500 million for clients, dealing with wrongful death, serious injury, professional malpractice and transportation accidents. Also past President of Riverside’s County Bar, his firm has served the Inland Empire for over 45 years.
Richard H. Irwin – Partner
Mr. Irwin is a recognized specialist in Workers’ Compensation law. He has been certified as a specialist by the State Bar of California since 1995. He limits his practice to handling only workers’ compensation cases.
Jean-Simon Serrano – Associate
Mr. Serrano has been admitted to practice before California State and Federal Courts. He was named to the Super Lawyers’ 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 Southern California Rising Stars List, an honor awarded to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in Southern California each year.
Sara B. Morgan – Associate
Ms. Morgan obtained her Juris Doctor from Chapman University School of Law in Orange, California. She contributes to the improvement of both the local and legal communities, having provided pro- and low-bono legal services, and volunteering at legal clinics and other programs serving the community.
William C. Bibb – Associate
William C. Bibb attended the Webb School in Claremont, California. He graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in psychology in 1972, and earned his juris doctorate degree from Southwestern School of Law in Los Angeles in 1977.
Joshua Cates – Of Counsel
For more than thirty-eight years, Joshua’s practice has emphasized personal injury claims and other civil matters. He also assists clients with various estate planning needs, particularly in developing family and individual trusts. He began his career in the field of banking law, focusing on commercial transactions, business organizations, and real estate matters.
