Riverside St. Patrick’s Day Party
In Riverside we just had our Charles Dickens Festival. What fun it is each year! But now, like a wee leprechaun sneaks up on a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, St. Patrick’s Day is sneaking up on us. Get out your green clothing and get ready for the celebrations—Riverside has a great event planned for the kids.
At the Orange Terrace Community Center on March 17th, a St. Patrick’s Day party will be held where anyone can come and celebrate the most famous Irish holiday. The event is for children aged five to ten and the cost is only $2 per person.
This annual event is a great way to keep kids active and help them learn the history of the “green” holiday that is celebrated every March. The activities begin at 4 p.m. and end at 6 p.m.—just in time for the whole family to enjoy a holiday dinner together.
St. Patrick’s Day marks the beginnings of spring weather and a great time for people to get together and celebrate the luck of the Irish. For more information, contact the Riverside Parks, Recreation and Community Service office at (951) 826-2000.
